This is a VERY NICE Mirafone 4 valve BBb tuba. Miraphone is one of the best names in tuba manufacture-quality German engineering and execution leads to an instrument with excellent response and intonation. This instrument is in very good playing condition, and pretty good cosmentic condition. The bell is detachable,and obviously not original to this isntrument, but it is the correct bell for the body. There are a couple of minor dings and dents throughout the body, but nothing that affects play and its actually pretty great condition for a used tuba. The valves are excellent. They are tight and very light. Plays with a big booming sound and terrific response. I'm a trombone player, but this instrument almost makes me want to take up tuba! Pics tell the rest of the story!
