A Beautiful Made In Japan Yamaha Refurbished YAS-23 Alto Saxophone. Saxophone was dismantled, cleaned inside and out, all keyholes/keys checked for alignment and straightened if needed, all pads leak tested and replaced as needed..then each and all pads were set and sealed air tight. All springs checked/adjusted for a fluid play. All multi-play/key settings/controls adjusted and set for correct coordinated key closings. After refurbishing, the sax was play tested from high to low. The saxophone plays without effort and is fully ready right out of the case. Sax has never been dropped, but there are some light scratches and a couple of small dings.
*There is a choice of cases with this sax, we have in stock some brand new light weight but solid (non-Yamaha) cases or the original stock covered wood Yamaha cases (these original Yamaha YAS23 cases always show quite a bit of cosmetic wear). Auction includes the made in Japan Yamaha 23 alto sax, choice of case, lightly used/sterilized student mouthpiece with ligature/cap, neck-strap, new Yamaha shining cloth, neck cap, new Yamaha alto sax lyre, and new cork grease.
