Up for sale is an Antique Harwood Art Violin Model of Amatus by the J. W. Jenkins & Sons Music Company (J.W.J.S.M. Co.) Kansas City, Missouri. I brought this violin in to Christian Eggert Violins for an assessment of value and then decided to have it restored. This violin was made in Germany for JWJSM Co. with estimated Circa early 1900's but could be anytime between 1890-1930. The estimated value is between $1,500-$1,600 according to the staff at Christian Eggert and they assessed it to be in very good condition prior to restoration with no cracks or other notable damage. I was told the Pernambuco bow appears to have been repaired at some point. I was told that this was hand made out of Germany and it was described as having a powerful, professional sound. I don't know a lot about violins so I would offer to bring it back to Christian Eggert for any potential buyer to consult with the staff prior to purchase. See receipt for description of restorations done on this violin. Violin measures approximately 23" from end to end. Comes with vintage case and violin bow - See pictures for sense of condition and contact me with any questions.See my other interesting items at: Thanks for Looking!!!
