After much hesitation, I resolved to let go of the jewel ~ serious financial constraints have finally brought me to it, alas. For sale a 2014 gorgeous Negra Flamenco classical guitar, hand-made by world-renowned luthier Paco Santiago Marin of Granada. I had it custom-ordered the year before~ picked it up personally. Marin is an absolute celebrity, he needs no introduction. I visited the master's shop in beautiful Granada several times over the years (pics of him on the wall with Leo Brouwer, etc.), great man, great craftsman. The guitar is, as you can see, stunningly beautiful; it sounds amazing, highly resonant trebles and mid-range, and growl on the basses. It is at the same time sweet-sounding and present. High volume.I paid $7000 at the time (not to mention the cost of airfare and lodging to supervise the whole gestation!). The starting price is somewhat incredible, but I need to sell rather fast: your (immense) gain.It has been played very little. In pristine condition. One superficial scratch near the bridge. Perfect otherwise. Spruce and Indian rosewood, mahogany for the neck (I think). The turners are German; Paco Marin did not remember the maker. They are good; though, aesthetically, they are not equal to the instrument . I had mounted some black Rubners which looked much better: it's been drilled for both: a tiny drill hole is visible through the iron open work of the mount; I recommend you change the tuners anyway and cover the hole. But these ones are fine. The cover of this nearly imperceptible drill hole is at your discretion. Comes with a hard case. Shipping is a flat $150 insured & tracked. I live and thus ship from Italy: despite the typical prejudice, the Italian post has grown to become efficient and reliable; I have shipped out many guitars to the US in the past, so no worries. My experience with US customs on the other hand is checkered: sometimes they charge sometimes they don't, I don't know. Please find out what they regulations are; in any event, I take no responsibility whatsoever for any duty at the other end.
