Gretsch Synchromatic 100 1940s
Estimated price for orientation: 1 350 $
Category: Other Vintage Guitars
Class:
Description Exact Year: 1940
Early 1940's Syncromatic. "Super Structure" Model 100 (later renamed the 6014). A DeArmond "Guitar Mike" is a great asset to this wonderful Archtop. The pickup sounds really nice, it takes an 1/8" plug, not 1/4". There is standard checking and finish peeling of a 75 year old guitar, but the original finish still looks great! Beautiful block inlays on the fingerboard and it has a wide and comfortable neck to play. The trim is peeling a little bit which is typical of all old gretsch guitars. Will ship in a hard shell case! It may be the original case, I'm not positive on that though. Message with any further questions or picture requests.
