For sale is a very rare Washburn Dime 3 Stealth with a brushed aluminum top. I've been a collector of Dime guitars since the 90's when they were first made by Washburn. This is a very rare top that I custom ordered around 2002-2003. The top is brushed aluminum with a clear coat over the top. The pics don't do it justice because the finish looks different depending how the light hits it. It really is a unique top It's an amazing guitar that plays really well and sounds awesome. A common question about a guitar with metal on the top is "does it affect the sound?". I would say that it has a great sound that isn't adversely effected by the metal top at all. Pickups are Dime's standards, dimebucker in the bridge and '59 in the neck. It has the buzz feiten tuning system as well as anything you'd expect to find on a USA Dime 3 stealth. I never gigged this guitar so the majority of its life has been played by me at my home studio and stored meticulously. I love these guitars and have collected them for years. I'd really like to see this go to someone who will appreciate what it is and the rarity. Serious buyers and offers only please.
