I am selling my original 1997 Gibson Thunderbird in translucent black ebony stain finish. This bass comes with the original Gibson hardshell case in great shape. The case alone is worth over $300. These are hard to come by with an original case. Most have been replaced with cheap epiphone cases. Bass is in excellent condition with minor marks on the back from normal playing use. There is minor surface wear on the front just from my arm while playing. It can easily be polished out. I purchased this from a collector who only played it a handful of times and I have only played it out locally twice. The bass also has an upgraded Gibson chrome bridge. I will include the original bridge if you care to change it back. I set it up to my playing style which is hard rock and punk, fairly fast picking.
