Up for auction is a 2015 Gibson SG Standard Bass finished in Heritage Cherry. Made in the USA on 3/4/15. The bass is all original and lightweight. The body has a beautiful grain visible through the finish. The bass is in nice shape. Fit, finish and craftsmanship are top notch on this instrument. I have the bass strung up with D'Addario Chrome Flatwound Strings. There are swirls and scuffs in the rear clearcoat. There is a chip on the front of the body, down to the wood. I purchased the bass new with this chip, as a demo from a big online dealer. The factory installed Babicz Bridge is a huge improvement over the old 3 point bridges. The bass includes the original premium Gibson hard case (with key) in excellent condition, truss rod wrench, Allen wrench for bridge adjustments, and Gibson literature including the factory assembly bench photo.
