AWESOME! VINTAGE DOMENICK CALICCHIO MADE EARLY 13xx SUPERIOR NEW YORK Bb TRUMPET

THANK YOU <<<<<< I have a great Domenick Calicchio handmade SUPERIOR New York ( that's how bell is stamped ) Bb trumpet very early made in New York City serial range 13xx . Horn is in great shape considering age and in fully working condition ready to jazz, lead and roll . Darker raw brass patina. Not much left on the bell stamping but still visible. Serial is visible and readable on the 2nd valve casing. Has nicely done protective small about 1 inch patch below leadpipe around area where the thumb of the right hand touches for support when horn is being played please c photo when leadpipe is shown closer and you will see it below. There is another protective patch on the end of 2nd slide but it's done very skillfully so well that it appears like original as it kind of matches the bell / leadpipe braces pattern/shape so it blends with the horn design very well. These do not affect performance. Valves are air tight and move very smooth and fast. I don't see repairs on the bell. Domenick Calicchio same as Vincent Bach came to New York City back in the day and started to make his horns here before moving to LA to take over studio and jazz scene with his handcrafted trumpets. Photos are made with nice and handy case but horn can be bubble wrapped with no case if buyer wishes that ?!
