All pads work. I replaced the internal battery compartment, installed new recharging batteries as per spec...memory now works....All pads, volume faders, tuning knobs, pan faders work. All individual outputs as well as stereo outputs work.  Really nice cymbal samples, tunable on the fly snare, toms, and congas....Cool! Claps work best out of individual output...I had to goose and eq the kick drums to really get them big.  This is a fun and versatile musical beast. Creativity friendly. Hope you like it! The manual is floating around on the web. Forat in California is the guru, and owns the franchise now. Poking around inside I didn't see any (blue?) chip sockets. Those are supposed to be for the replaceable chips. Forat or a good solderer could fix that. It's also possible I missed them.    It's a 35 year old machine, so I'm selling as is. Is, however, is remarkably good. Everything works! Have some fun!
