VOX AC10 Twin 1960-61 JMI Era Vintage Vox RARE Fawn! Blue Elac's Copper Panel!
Here we have a real rare piece of vintage Vox 'JMI' era history.... A truly iconic amplifier made by JMI era Vox in England. This amp is very early version of AC10 Twin with FAWN vinyl covering making it much rarer than your average AC10. It sports the earlier design of the diamond grille cloth and many very early features. If your into your vintage Vox then you know what your looking at here. Highly desirable and sought after rare example of the AC10 in the twin speaker combination with copper panel. It's basically a scaled down AC30 or a more in proportion 1x12 AC15. This really is a special & beautiful piece. I have come across 1 other example in 5 years of scouting for 1 of these.... It's here at around £5000+ once shipped/imported/VAT. https://reverb.com/item/3540462-vox-ac-10-twin-jmi-era-1961-fawn The amp I have here is Original except a few capacitors and tubes all necessary under maintenance and service. This amp is QUIET! Which is somewhat a rare thing for a vintage Vox as you might know if your familiar with this grade of vintage JMI piece. Original parts in great condition includes Fawn vinyl covering, vox logo, black 'Bakelite' handle, brown diamond grill net, brass vents, knobs, Elac 10" 4Ω Blue Speakers, all transformers, and egg shape metal foot switch. The only issue/flaw this amp has is it is missing the back plate / ID plate. Looks like it's never been there.... 2 screws are unoriginal in the back panel also..(see photo) Great reproductions can be sourced easily for aesthetic purpose. Inspections, viewings and tests welcome at this stage I am only offering this amazing amp for collection only or personal delivery (buyer to cover travel costs) QUESTIONS WELCOME - LETS TALK!;) Further photos and internal shots can be sent across to serious buyers. ALSO NOTE - THIS VOX SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!! UK BIDDERS S & BUYERS ONLY CHECK OUT MY OTHER COOL VINTAGE GEAR AND ADD ME AS A SELLER!;) GOOD LUCK!
