Tise Deering Calico, is an exquisite, world class banjo that is in absolutely excellent condition. The banjo was made in February, 2000, but has played it very little. All original, including the head which shows no signs of wear. There is some very slight pick marks under the first string (gray discoloration). The neck and resonator show no scratches or dings. The rim and tone ring seem to have developed some oxidation which would need to be buffed out. Serial #02477008374 It features a flamed maple resonator and neck (all beautifully bound), an ebony fretboard, capo spikes at the 5th, 7th, and 10 positions.and all the premier features of the Calico model. Original Deering case, also in excellent condition.. Shipping will be UPS insured.
