This guitar and amp are very very nice. When got this from the original owners wife, it had a tall nut, the guitar was used for slide guitar, it has literally no fret ware . the original nut was included and is back on the guitar, It plays ,sounds and looks excellent. Amp sounds great This is a very 'extremely' RARE vintage Silvertone #1357 electric guitar and amp, purchased from original owner. Previous owner purchased this RARE Danelectro Silvertone 'PEANUT' and amp in 1956. Guitar and tube amp extends a true vintage electric guitar sound. This one is in exceptional condition displaying very little wear. This guitar was used most of its life as a slide guitar, which explains why there is little to no fret wear. Ginger vinyl top and back with tan edges, Lipstick pickup, "Peanut" shaped body, Rosewood fingerboard, and early 1956 dated pots. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of such a RARE and desirable vintage Danelectro guitar and comes with its original chipboard case. I love this guitar, I really do. And have enjoyed playing it. I hate to part with it, but I am relinquishing several of my treasured guitars, and this is one of them. Volume and tone controls are fully functional. Guitar plays really nice, with low action. Very beautiful vintage finish. This is a really, really nice guitar. Fret board has a great feel. Hard to believe it close to 60's year old! Special Consideration: Sold AS-IS, AS-Found ~ No returns, No exchanges, and No RefundsThis is a true vintage electric guitar, not NEW. Disclaimer: I am not an expert, and try to give my honest opinion. Questions are always welcomed before bidding
