This is an Indonesian-made Sterling by Music Man Axis AX40D. This guitar is in EXCELLENT condition with only a few very minor, and hardly noticeable, feather scratches from handling. Utilizing the Sterling by Music Man Double Locking Tremolo and lock nut, zebra DiMarzio AXIS Humbuckers, 3 position selector with single volume control, the AX40D is a pure rock guitar. The top is beautiful book-matched, quilted maple that is enhanced by luxurious translucent finishes with matching painted headstock and the basswood body exudes warm and percussive tones.In relentless pursuit of tone, yet still maintaining an affordable price point, the Sterling by Music Man AX40D is factory loaded with the very desirable Music Man proprietary DiMarzio AXIS pickups, which, until now have only been available in the Music Man AXIS guitars!
