Beautiful Amalio Burguet Estudio Classical Guitar in excellent condition.Built in 1997 and purchased by myself, the seller, in 2010. This guitar was in excellent condition when I bought it from the first owner [who bought it new from Spanish Guitar Centre, Bristol in 1997] and it is still in excellent condition now.Built in Spain at the Amalio Burguet workshop. A signed label is attached to the inside of the guitar [picture #5].Always stored in a hard case and infrequently played during the six years I have owned it because I have several other guitars.I am selling it because I am reducing my collection of guitars.Fitted with ProArte EJ45 normal tension strings. The string action measured at the 12th fret is - 1st E 2.95mm, 6th E 3.20mm [picture #10]. Full size 650mm scale length. Fingerboard width at nut 51mm. Bone nut and saddle.Ebony fingerboard.Dimensions [approximate]: overall length 1,000mm, lower bout 367mm, upper bout 275mm.Original machine heads which are un-worn and hold the strings in tune [picture #7].The appearance of the guitar is absolutely gorgeous. The woods used appear to be spruce for the top and mahogany for the back and sides and the neck. The body edges are bound & purfled front and back.The woods used for the bridge and headstock veneer are also very pretty and complement the appearance of the guitar well [pictures #8 & 4].The rosette is typical Amalio Burguet [picture #5].The hard-shell case that I bought with the guitar is included in the sale. It fits well and provides good protection with three latches and three hinges. It has no dents, scrapes, tears or damage .
