Gibson MB-4 trap door Mandolin banjo 1917 with hard shell case.All original except replaced Remo weather king banjo head (not skin head)will stay in tune better,newer bridge.Hardware is in great shape,original the Gibson tail piece.Frets original no ware,action is very playable.Trap door and spring are work like they should,locking in open and closed positions.Back has scuffs and scrapes,not thru the finish.There is some finish ware on both sides of the neck at the nut.The heal cap has a crack down the middle,no sign of neck heal seam opening.Back of headstock overlay (black) has crack running down middle and small piece of overlay is missing atop edge at D tuner.Overall for its age this Mandolin is in great shape ,plays fine and is very loud.
