Great condition. Comes with original case and a new set of Thomastik-Infeld strings which I've found to be the BEST for that classic Byrds, Beatles, 60's jangle-sound. (they are pricey at $50 a set)Already setup. The color is as shown (closest) in pictures 1 and 3. Beautiful guitar! This guitar is also a bit brighter than other 660/12's I've heard (A GOOD thing). Get yourself a Janglebox compressor and get THAT sound. (there's no other way really and I've tried all the cheap 12 string alternatives)
The Model 660/12 features a charactered Maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's. A Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through. Rickenbacker's trademark "checkered" black and white binding set off the body, while white binding graces the neck. The 660/12 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the vintage reissue series, complete with Rickenbacker's own Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top pickups.  These deluxe features, coupled with over 60 years of hand-crafted excellence, encapsulate the essence of the "Rickenbacker Mystique."   This 2010 FireGlo Rickenbacker 660/12 is in new/unplayed condition. It's the same guitar featured on the cover of Tom Petty's "Damn the Torpedos" album. It comes with it’s original case.   Body Type Solid No. Frets 21 Scale Length 62.9 cm (24 3/4'') Neck Width at Nut 41.4 mm (1.63'') Neck Width at 12th Fret 49.05 mm (1 .931'') Crown Radius 25.4 cm (10'') Body Wood Maple Neck Wood Maple Fingerboard Wood Rosewood Weight 3.6 kg (8.0 lbs.)
