2003 FENDER YELLOW SPLATTER/SPLATTERCASTER/STRATOCASTER Electric Guitar with Gigbag:
Made in Mexico. Special Limited Edition with one-of-a-kind finish. The only thing we could find on this guitar were three very tiny nicks on the back of the headstock, HARDLY NOTICEABLE UNLESS YOU TURN IT IN THE LIGHT. OVERALL THIS GUITAR IS MINT! BACK OF HEADSTOCK READS: "FENDER SPECIAL EDITION" and "The artwork on this guitar is the Copyright 'C' 2003 of FMIC. All rights reserved." The high gloss finish color is a bright sunny yellow with tie-dye style splatter pattern in a reddish orange and seafoam green. Both the pickguard and the back tremolo spring cover are white with the matching paint effect except they have a tactical feel, whereas the body is silky smooth. Some people have said there were only 3000 of this series Fender made.Very sturdy gigbag, made by Access, with straps on back and two perfect condition handles.
