OK, this Tobacco Burst R8 started off as a killer guitar: a highly-sought after year (2001) with the very tasteful flame top. If you follow the Historic models, you know these are great guitars. I have replaced the pickups with Wolfetone Dr. Vintage PAFs, and replaced the stock wiring kit with an incredible 50's setup by Rick Norman (Dr. Vintage), as well.The end result is an authentic guitar that sounds incredible on every pickup setting. You can roll the volume back for cleans. You can even roll the tone knob all the way down and it still gives up great usable settings. It's also lightweight, coming in at 8.5 lbs on my bathroom scale.This guitar has never been gigged or smoked around. It has lived in its case at my home. FREE SHIPPING
