Vintage Yamaha Top Line Professional Flute - Model YFL-61, Open Hole, In-line, all sterling silver construction including keys, gold springs, and B-Foot, delux french style velvet case. You will love the tone quality of this flute from the early 1970's. I believe it was probably copied from a vintage Powell flute and has similar tonal characteristics and response. I have used it for a number of years as my flute of choice. You will see why, if you get it. Pads are nice, but you will want to have it adjusted for your playing needs. Serial #1285 - I have played in many flute concerts with this Yamaha flute. The price today for a flute with this workmanship would be over $6000. Here is a not so expensive pro flute for doublers, or pros, or higher level students. Are you looking for a professional silver open-hole flute with low-B and don't have the huge amount of money for the newer models? Then be sure to get this one! The workmanship is amazing! This flute has all the quality you need. It has a beautiful well rounded tone and sweet and light or bold. Pads are in great shape. Could use a shine.
