I ship international.1955 Gibson J-50. One owner guitar that was played a lot! It has some very cool case candy as well (see photos), old Mona-Steel string boxes and a clear Gibson pick box. The case is a vintage Lifton "Like a Fortress" hardshell case. The guitar has some honest play wear throughout. Lots of finish checking, too. There are NO repairs, no cracks, and no structural issues at all. It's just been played for 60 years! The tuner buttons have shrunk a lot. I would recommend being very careful when changing strings. I had my luthier do a set up and put a new set of light gauge D'Addario strings on for the best sound! The bridge saddle is low, so if you need the action super-low, you might need to reset the neck, or install larger frets. I'll leave that up to you. The guitar has the full neck profile. It has the SCALLOPED BRACING that makes the 1940's-1955 Gibson Jumbos so sought after. The tone is loud and distinct. It's an ideal guitar for a Bluegrass player (like the original owner).
