This is a Hallmark Johnny Ramone Signature guitar from Hallmark Guitars, Bob Shade (owner of Hallmark) is a luthier who is known for manufacturing amazing copies of Mosrites. You can see in the pics Mr. Shade's signature on the back of the neck, he personally inspects and signs off on every guitar that leaves his shop. Johnny played a slightly modified Mosrite Mark II, and this guitar is Hallmark's recreation of that, officially licensed by Johnny's estate. Overall it is in fine shape, I never gigged it, I'm just a hobby player. No major (or even noticeable) dings, scratches, cosmetic issues, etc. outside of two things: There is some light pick burn on the neck pick up from playing it like Johnny would've (I can see why he eventually replaced the neck pup with a mini-hum just to have the metal guard). Also, I replaced the pickup selector switch as the factory switch failed very soon after purchase. Both the pick burn and the switch change are pictured. Please note that while the replacement switch looks slightly different than the factory switch, it's actually more accurate to what Johnny had on his guitar, and the broken factory switch will be included inside the custom case the guitar came in. It's a light, comfortable, fast playing guitar that's perfect for speedy punk rock buzzsawing. The one piece maple neck, in particular, is absolutely fantastic. Frankly, I'd rather keep it, but I'm going though a remodeling project that ballooned well past budget so now I'm left no choice but to sell some stuff to help pay for the work.
