What else can I say - it's just a superb instrument and when I purchased it in 2015 I had the option of purchasing a new 814ce. I did not do so because I think that Bob Taylor's  new magic man, Andy powers,  is a big dud who has completely destroyed the unique Sound that makes a Taylor a Taylor. So i wanted to be sure I was buying the best Taylor I could - and after playing many I decided that for me, the 714ce was just the BOMB. so why am I selling you wonder?  I'm heartbroken to let this guitar go - but I realized I needed a smaller bodied guitar with a smaller 1 11/16 but width as a woman with small hands.  The original truss rod cover and saddle, nut, ebony bridge pins, and even the original tuners will be included should you wish to restore the guitar to its original state - although it would pain me to think that anyone would choose to do so - it was a great guitar to begin with but wow, the bone nut and saddle really improved the tone. The fancy gotoh tuners are on it as well - I thought they would be a super improvement in tuning precision but no, they really weren't all that special - the Taylor tuners are just as good in my opinion - well maybe the gotohs are more precise, I don't know -- in any case, you decide - gotohs are on it, and original  Taylor tuners (silver) are included in the sale  The electronics (ES2) are working fine - I plugged the guitar into an amp for the first time today and it all worked - treble bass volume - I'm not a performer so I had never done so before- in fact I thought something was wrong before i remembered I had to put the 9 volt back in that I had taken out the first day.  In fact the guitar has never left my apartment in Manhattan since I purchased and received it from Sweetwater last year.
