Early Meyer NYUSA medium chamber alto piece, refaced by Dr James Bunte to a 5 tip opening, it's a great playing mouthpiece.The original lettering on the shank which reads ' new york usa' and' medium chamber' are clearly visible . This is a nice playing NY Meyer, it plays with a focussed core, it has that characteristic NY Meyer rich and penetrating voice, it articulates quickly and can project over a section, it's the classic jazz alto mouthpiece suitable for lead and jazz playing.
