EMT 950/347 Professional Wide Body Broadcast Turntable Order No.9/950/347 Serial number – 57112 Made in Germany For auction is this stunning EMT 950/347 Professional Wide Body Turntable in excellent working order. Affectionately known as the "BBC" Those of you that are familiar with EMT already know that they are probably the best turntables ever made.The 950/347 was considered top of the range and the ultimate broadcast disk reproducer in the UK and overseas. This particular turntable was one of the last to be decommissioned from BBC Radio in the late 1990s. The turntable is in outstanding cosmetic condition, virtually unmarked with very little usage. If inspected very closely, there is the odd little mark here and there due to normal studio use, but certainly nothing serious. The machine comes complete with the EMT 929 tone arm, TSD-G headshell & Ortofon OM Pro MM cartridge.Following a full service, all functions work beautifully.LED time display, analogue groove meter and switch lamp illumination.This model also offers the 'coarse' and 'fine' pitch controls along with reverse auto cue locating electronics.33 / 45 & 78 rpm speeds are accurate and balanced line outputs set to reference standard. Balanced line output XLR sockets, headphone monitoring and comprehensive remote control facilities. For accurate fade in/out, a front variable (stereo) Penny & Giles 180 degree fader is fitted.Multi voltage 100v-240v switchable (Worldwide operation).I'm sorry, but I do not have the original instruction or service manual. Please examine my pictures for clarification. This turntable comes complete with - BBC design perspex hinged cover. TSD-G headshell with Ortofon OM Pro moving magnet cartridge with 33 & 78 rpm styli. Complete set of XLR audio connecting leads. Detachable mains lead. I'm happy to ship Worldwide.
