Authentic, 1970 vintage original Fender Telecaster maple neck. The decal is not original and parts of the neck could have been refinished. The of the back of the neck doesn't have much finish left on it from play ware. The numbers on the heel can't be seen. Most of these I have owned and worked on have had heel stamps with very light green ink that was almost always so faded that the stamping was illegible. So, I'm not sure if the heel was also refinished or not. The neck plate that was with it had a serial number for 1970, the headstock shape, tooling marks and other attributes are all correct for 1970. Thickness at 1st fret - .851"Thickness at 12th fret - .935"Width at nut - 1.60"Width at heel - 2.20"Fretboard Radius - 7.25"Profile - No for sure, but it feels like a "U" or possibly a "D"The neck is old, it has play wear (please see all 12 photos) so there are dings and marks from play. The frets have ware, but are very clean and the neck is strait and the truss rod is adjustable. It has some extra tuner holes from aftermarket tuners being fitted at one time and one extra string tree hole has been drilled.
