What makes this guitar special? This is a very unique Fender dreadnought that was only produced for a few years in the mid ‘80s. It is designed to play like a Strat, but have the full sound of a Martin Acoustic.
Retail was $750.00 and the case was $150.00, according to Fender.com Rosewood back and sides with Spruce top Solid Rosewood scalloped bridge w/abalone pins Double binding throughout body, neck, sides, and down middle of back Three-ring rosette Fender Tortoiseshell pick guard. Tear drop shape Mother-of-Pearl Cross In-lays Medium depth C shape profile neck 1-11/16" nut. Rosewood fingerboard, mahogany neck Florentine-style cutaway 22 full frets (with ease of access) 25.5" Scale Fender’s distinct Stratocaster-style headstock In-line, original Fender locking tuners Fender's factory-installed "Transparent Electronics System" with tone, volume, and notch (feedback filter). Endpin-mounted jack. Solid metal bolt style Condition: I'll list this guitar in Great Vintage Condition overall. After 3 decades of performing it possesses various dings, scrapes and cracks here and there but overall she looks beautiful (see pictures). The Rosewood vibrates with natural resonance, as it always does, and the age has dramatically improved those good vibrations.
