Thanks for reading This is a superb 1998 USA Telecaster. It plays beautifully and holds its tune better than any other guitar I've played. It is *almost* standard. Three modifications: 1) I've included a new Fender brown leather strap. This also has straplocks (hence the modification). 2) I changed the scratch plate from its original 3 ply white to a 3 ply black. I've included the original and it's easy to reverse. 3) I've had the capacitors changed to vintage orange drop oil and paper capacitors. If you don't know about them then please google(!). They make it sound superb. As you can probably tell, I love this guitar. It's so easy to play and sounds amazing. Tele's may not be as versatile as strat's, but they are far cooler(!). Also, I never found the weight to be an issue, but the wider Fender strap helps there. I'd love to keep it, but I've got to get rid of it to justify toys in other areas. Hopefully that shouldn't leave you with any questions, but please do ask. Cheers M
