I'm selling my 2008 Tom Anderson Cobra S in Arctic Blue Burst. The guitar is in used but very good overall condition. The plastic covers over the tremolo and electronics cavities on the back show some scratches. I was able to photograph two dings in the clear coat on the back but they are normally difficult to see without the light shining on it at a specific angle. There are also some minor scratches on the front of the headstock as depicted in the photo. I wasn't able to find any substantial scratches or dings on the front of the body, though. It's really held up beautifully. There's been no fretwork done either but the frets, like all Andersons, are stainless steel and feel silky smooth for a long time. Here are the specs from andersonguitarworks.com Serial Number Search: Serial Number: 04-07-08A
Guitar model: Cobra S
Body wood: Quilted Maple Top on Mahogany
Body finish: Arctic Blue Burst w/binding
Neck wood: Mahogany, Indian Rosewood fretboard
Neck Back Shape: Even Taper
Nut Width: 1 11/16 in
Frets: Medium
Hardware Color: Chrome
Bridge: Vintage Tremolo
Pickups: H1 H3
Switching: 5 Way, Pull on Tone Knob splits middle position*
Strings: 10-46
Buzz Feiten Tuning System: yes Also equipped with new Anderson locking tuners and custom Ebony pickup rings that were put on after I had the guitar awhile. Super cool! *A note on the switching: the pickup selector in the 2nd position (neck split coil) sounds like the neck pickup on a strat and is absolute magic. I've played other Andersons, including my other one with a very similar configuration, that don't quite nail that tone like this one does. It comes with a custom SKB 3i case that I have used on tour in the U.K. and southeast Asia so it is battle tested and ready for the road if you're a touring musician. The case isn't perfect for the guitar (the neck doesn't pass through the neck part perfectly center) but it is perfectly snug and protected as I can attest through usage. Plus, it has two features that are really handy. One is that it comes with two TSA 002 locks that all TSA members carry so they can inspect belongings and relock safely if needed for flight travel (there are also 4 spots for traditional pad locks if desired). Secondly, there are handles on both ends of the case with wheels on one of the sides so you can roll your case like luggage which is very convenient. The case can also sustain a lot of weight which makes it comforting to throw in with lots of other gear with no worries. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and I'll try to get a detailed response as soon as I can! Thanks
