2005 Yamaha Q Class Bb Trumpet - Like New Condition!

Up for sale is a 2005 Yamaha Q Class Bb Trumpet, model number YTR-01MQ, serial number 710219. The Q Class was in production from 2004 - 2007. The matte lacquer finish was ahead of its time, so didn't sell well. Today, matte lacquer is in frequent use, offered by several trumpet builders. The Q Class plays exceptionally well and is a standout among student trumpets. Bobby Shew, the trumpet artist who helped design the best-selling Yamaha 8310Z trumpet, also helped design the Q Class trumpet. As a result, it is a solid player. This trumpet will also work well as a marching trumpet, backup horn, or even primary trumpet. Main Specifications are as follows:*Reversed tuning slide without brace*Unique bell brace ( "I" shape instead of "Z")*Unique mouthpiece receiver shape (different from the standard Yamaha line up)*Medium large bore (0.459) : same as YTR-2335*Two piece yellow brass bell : same as YTR-2335*One piece valve casing : same as YTR-2335*Nickel plated (brass) piston : same as YTR-2335Bobby acquired several when they went out of production. I bought this one (still in the box) from him last year for a friend's son who was going to start on trumpet. After his first lesson he decided to take choir instead:) So, this trumpet has about 30 minutes of playing time on it; otherwise it is brand new.No dents, dings, or scratches. All of the slides work as they should. Also included is a Yamaha 11B4 mouthpiece in perfect condition, cleaning cloth, valve oil, Owners Manual, and CD-ROM.
