Vintage 1950s Richard Keilwerth Sax Fingering Clarinet:A sax fingering clarinet is designed to be similar to a saxophone key layout; it has covered keys (as opposed to rings) and the lower-joint layout is like that of an Albert System clarinet. The keywork has genuine mother-of-pearl inlay on the buttons, and is silver-plated.  The key is Bb.  (Some cork has been adhered to the pinky keys as a minor modification; this can be easily removed - see photos.)This one is in excellent condition; the pads are not new, but have life left in them.  Due to not having been played much recently, it may need some attention and minor pad work to play optimally. The mother-of-pearl on the keywork shows beautifully, reflecting subtle green and red colors in the pearly white.  I mention this only because the photos do not do the pearls  justice - they look much more striking in person (the glare of the lighting in the photos washes out the pearls making them look plain white).See all  14 photos below - just click on a photo to see an enlargement (photos are slightly magnified and make some blemishes appear larger than they actually are).     Please write with any questions (or call 781-570-9491).
