Vintage King H. N. White “Silver Tone” Master Model Cornet Fantastic Condition Model Number: 1065 Key: Bb and A Serial Number: 217718 – Crafted in 1938. Finish: Clear Baked on Lacquer. Bore: .458 Medium Diameter of Bell: 4.625 Inches Case: Yes, HN White made. Mouthpiece: Yes, Original King M2. Cornet Background: Look. And listen. The round, lyrical sound of this King Master Model reveals its true beauty. The tones are pure and clear…from a velvet softness to a bell-like brilliance. The traditional cornet lines, with gently sweeping mouthpipe, insure the rich sound. Intonation is flawless. Valves are lightning-swift. The King Silver Tone Master Model Cornet is one of the most famous designs to come out of the house of Kings. The under slung tuning devise makes adjusting the third valve slide unnecessary, thus no finger ring needed. This cornet has been restored. The body of the cornet is very nice, but does have some small flaws. · This cornet has new oven baked on lacquer, 99% perfect. · The gold wash is new and 99% perfect. · The flower pattern engraving is crisp and still has its original gold leaf and is a true work of art. · There are small scratches on the cornet but none are deep. · There is no structural or body damage. · All slides operate smoothly. · The valves are superfast with no apparent loss of air pressure. · All the slides and valves are stamped with the appropriate serial numbers. · The cornet has new cork and felt. · Comes with original lyre. · Comes with original cleaning rod. · The cornet comes in its original hard to find deluxe case!
