ILL BE OUT IF THE COUNTRY UNTIL DECEMBER 20th!!! So here's the deal guy and girls. I bought this bass off of eBay a few years ago. It had been spray painted mostly black when I got it so it was pretty on par price wise at a thousand dollars. I just recently had MJT strip it and refinish it. To set it apart from the way these were originally finished, we landed on trying to mimic a Collins style dog hair finish to bring out the beauty of the grain. I think it turned out pretty well. Anyway, I have decided to move this along to someone who wants to put a bit more work in to finish it off (or play it as is... everything does technically work in its current state.) But in the spirit of transparency... here's what is still going on with it. Like i said, all the switches and controls work. The pots are not scratchy and despite having a few cracks around the input jack, the pick guard is holding strong. The pick guard is cracked around the input jack, it is missing the bridge cover, there was a different style bridge installed at one point but the screw holes aren't very noticeable, the current bridge is probably not original but is period correct, and the volume pot works in reverse for some reason. It includes the original case and is a dream to play with DiAdderio Chromes installed. I'm losing quite a bit on this sale, but its time for someone else to enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions.
