The Yamaha "Custom" line of saxophones are made from the very finest French brass and essentially hand made and adjusted by Yamaha's most skilled craftspersons. They are some of the very finest saxophones made anywhere by anyone. This one has had only a little use. I have taken extremely good care of it. It is very very clean. I swab the sax, neck and clean my mouthpiece after every use, then normally put it back into the case with the lid open and the sax covered with a clean linen towel allowing it to breathe. That allows it to stay as fresh as new.The photos show everything. no dents, no dings, and only a very few tiny little scratches, the worst of which are around the neck strap ring and shown in the photo (look closely).The leather covered case is in excellent condition too and includes the case strap and keys. Also included is the original Yamaha Custom mouthpiece, ligature, and cover. The mouthpiece was used only a couple of times. No teeth marks. Perfect like new condition. Although not my personal choice of mouthpiece, for a $100 mouthpiece it is pretty good. Plays easily and well in tune note to note, similar but not exactly like a Selmer S80, in my opinion. Not the cheapest out there, or the most expensive, but as good as any and perhaps even better than new. It needs no adjustments. Plays perfectly. These are known for being very in tune and with even timbre from note to note. This is the model preferred by classical players, but with the right mouthpiece it can do anything. In many years I have never played an alto that was better than this one PERIODI pack, as one customer put it, "to survive WWIII" and ship promptly. Buy with confidence. I have 100% positive ebay feedback. If you are in the area you are invited to bring your favorite mouthpiece and try it out. You will love it. As there is no way I can be certain of anyone else treating this fine instrument with the care I have given it and will use in shipping it to you, I will not accept a return.
