VOX 's Tone Bender was announced in the late '66 based on Solone Sound' s Tone Bender MK 1.5 announced in the early '66. Arbiter's Fuzz Face was similarly designed based on MK 1.5, so it has similar circuitry. For Fuzz Face with fat sounds, VOX Tone Bender features a sharp exit high. This unit is in 2nd edition with panel design changed.It is a characteristic that is characterized by a bursting attack, this is a tone BENDER sound creates thick walls of distortion, expressing an outstanding presence.
