Estimated price for orientation: 2 190 $
Category: Other Vintage Percussion

Description Brand: Gretsch
1960s Gretsch Progressive Jazz Outfit topped off in the original Champagne Sparkle wrap. The kit is in very nice player condition with no extra holes or major modifications. The wrap is original with little fading and minimal scuffs and signs of use. All drums are 6-ply shells and were born together based on serial numbers and the history of the kit. All of the toms brand new Aquarian American Vintage heads (thin on bottom, mediums on batter) and the bass drum has new Aquarian American Vintage Medium weight heads with felt strips on both sides. The seams on all of the drums have been professionally cleaned of old glue and re-glued to the shells. They are in great shape and are not pulling up at all.
Here is a break down of each drum : 20x14 : Good condition with no cracks in the wrap or extra holes. The corner of the wrap at the seam is chipped (please see photos) however this is very minor. The wrap has a fair share of scratches and scuffs, however these are not extremely noticeable from a distance. The bearing edges are original and in good condition with no serious indentions or issues. They are a little rough (again, see photos) but nothing serious. All of the hardware is original and in fair condition with some pitting. The hoops have the original Gretsch factory black paint, however the inlay has been replaced with new champagne sparkle which is slightly brighter than the rest of the drum. A few of the claws on the bass drum have began to pull ever so slightly, however they all still hold the hoops on and the drum tunes up very well. 14x14 : Very nice condition. The shell is in great shape, original wrap has very few areas of scratches. This drum (along with the 12) lived a portion of its life with the bottom head off thus resulting in an area that has a indention. We have had this professionally filled with epoxy and the edge retains its original shape with no recutting. This was very very well done and the drum tunes up appropriately. The hardware shows some pitting while a few of the lugs have corrosion. All of the tension rods are Gretsch. 12x8 : Also in very nice condition with original champagne sparkle wrap with no cracks. The interior of the drum looks very nice and the batter edge is original. Much like the 14, the bottom hoops were off of this drum for an extended amount of time and two areas have been repaired with epoxy back to the original edge profile. This was professionally done and is extremely smooth and blends perfectly with the rest of the original edge. Please see photos. he hardware shows some pitting while a few of the lugs have corrosion. All of the tension rods are Gretsch.Shipping quote for continental US only.
