Mint brand new condition. A complete re-wire with 50's Style Wiring, full size Alpha 500K Pots and orange drop .022uf caps, Switch Craft 3 way switch and input jack was done and the guitar really came alive. The factory ships the guitar with mini pots and tiny capacitors, the switch and input jack are a generic brand. HUGE Difference in tone and volume. When I turn the tone up and down while a cord is ringing it sounds like a wah wah, just like it should.
This guitar has been professionally set up, truss bar, action, pick up height and intonation. A TRUE FENDER ORIGINAL RETURNS:Virtually fabled since the mid-to-late 1970s, the seldom-seen Starcaster occupies a special place in Fender history as its one-and-only offset-waist semi-hollow electric guitar.
