Description Brand: Gibson Dexterity: Right-Handed Era: 1978 String Configuration: 6 String Model: Les Paul Standard Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Body Type: Solid
Up for sale:A beautiful, hefty 1978 Les Paul Standard, with cool black finish, extremely solid.I am not an expert on frets but I love the way they play. Close and smooth action. As always new owner may want to make adjustments to their liking.Tuners: replaced with GroversNew set of tone and volume knobs All other parts to my knowledge are original. The finish is nice but does have some belt-buckle wear on the back. The pickups are original hum bucking pickups. Comes with hard shell case. I took this suit to the guitar center to compare with their top of the line $5,000 gibson guitars. There was no comparison. None of the new guitars sound a great and had the sustain this guitar had. Employees at the store could not believe the difference in tone.I am selling because it is too heavy for me during a performance. My back is not as good as it use to be. I am not the original owner. I have played many gibson standards and this is one of the very best! Good luck to all!
