This lovely mandolin was bought by me last year from the designer of these instuments Phil Davidson who also fitted a twin K&K pickup system light gauge flatwound strings and strap lug. The flatwound strings give a less resonant tone suitable for jazzy styles and some players may prefer to change back to roundwound depending on playing style.Due to other commitments I have not been able to spend time playing and so am now reluctantly offering it for sale.It is in pristine condition without a single mark or blemish and could easily pass as brand new. It also comes with a hard case.Current price including the pickup is £552 with postage and I am offering this for £450 to include fully insured parcel force delivery.
