You are bidding on a beautiful vintage Fender Telecaster Bass from the 1970s, great playability and big sound, with the original hardshell case and nice leather strap. The serial number is 665789; the pickguard and posts are in the cool black bakelite type, which sings out on top of the old-time natural wood finish on the T-body. The electronics have been customized and improved with deluxe EMG active (powered) pickups, to good effect. The Telecaster bass seem lighter and easier to handle than the P-bass or Jazz counterparts. Most importantly, this classic 40 year old bass plays like a dream and sound deep but not boomy, especially when played through the classic Bassman and Ampeg amps. Call 415-488-0789 if you have questions or concerns about shipping, condition, etc ; local pickup in Northern California is of course free of charge.
