Vintage Yamaha SF500 Super Flighter (1977-1980)A really nice vintage Japanese built Yamaha SF500 from the late 1970’s. An incredibly well put together guitar in retro looking natural oil-stain finish. These are great guitars, so easy to play and sit in my collection quite happily with my higher end vintage Grecos and Tokais. It is all factory spec with no mods or repairs has a mahogany body and neck, black 2-ply scratchplate, bolt-on neck. The humbuckers sound great, no coil tap on this like the SF1000. She’s got some honest vintage mojo (no fake relicing here) with a few bumps and bruises, but still retains the deep glossy shine of the oil stain finish over mahogany. She basically looks awesome! No gig bag with this one but rest assured she will be packaged super securely in a padded purpose designed shipping box. I have sent guitars all over the world for years - I know how to pack, so trust me when I say absolutely nothing will harm this guitar in transit. No structural or electrical issues, just an awesome playing vintage Japanese warrior.
