Class:
Description Brand: Yamaha Bell Material: Brass Type: Double Horns Skill Level: Professional Model: 668D Country/Region of Manufacture: Japan Finish: Clear Lacquer
It's a hard thing, but I'm selling my horn. I just don't play it any more, and I can borrow a horn from work whenever I need. It's a Yamaha 668D. 668 is their Kruspe model (which I feel is significantly darker than the Geyer). I feel you can put a lot more air through it without any distortion. Intonation is spot on, and it's a very easy horn to play and to control. I know I'm biased, but I haven't played anything I like better for less than $10K. New these go for around $4700-4800. The D means it has the detachable bell. It needs nothing and is ready to play. Just an outstanding horn in outstanding condition. It's in great shape - both cosmetically and playing condition. If you look close, there are a few lacquer issues. You have to look closely though.
