Was $650.00Hicks Sticks Aspen Didgeridoo (#060410) was crafted by Ben Hicks about 25 years ago. I bought it from Ben personally, who was one of the best didge makers in the world at that time. Ben finished this didge with a natural-looking finish to highlight all the fine grain of this piece and give it scratch resistance. As with all his didges, Ben took the time and effort to do a loving, beautiful job to perfection.
This is a medium wide didge with great harmonics, medium walls, and excellent playability -- ideal for
anyone from beginners to professionals. Works for all playing styles from slow drones to fast percussive rhythms! Also features beautiful harmonic overtones and warm trumpets or toots. Use for all types of techniques from vocalizations like growls to yips and barks.
Features excellent backpressure for easy circular breathing as well as more advanced techniques. Makes a very attractive piece of art or take it out for a jam. Tuned perfectly in the key of D with F and C# toots. Weighs only 4 lbs. 8 oz. -- lightweight for it's size

This didgeridoo is beautifully finished with epoxy on both the inside and outside and makes the didgeridoo strong and guaranteed airtight. Wooden mouthpiece is 35mm wide and beautifully decorated with two different woods. I think it is made from Aspen wood which has a beautiful grain enhanced by the finish -- a great didge to play, with great back pressure and toots. FREE Shipping for the holidays! Buy it now at my low eBay price and save! Ben Hicks on Didgeridoo:
"My Aspen and hardwood instruments are made from standing dead and downed timber collected from my own property and the surrounding area of Colorado. All instruments are coated with epoxy inside and out for waterproofing which protects against cracking. Some are left with the high gloss of the epoxy finish itself, some have added polyurethane satin over the epoxy waterproofing."Specifications:
