This is a Steinmayer S108. The piano was first featured in 2000 and as quoted by the guardian on the six of the best pianos.......... "The Steinmayer 108 is a good standard piano, which is nicely balanced, has an even action, a good sound and a warm tone. It is way better than the entry level Yamaha" This 108 series piano was designed and engineered by German piano meister Lother Schell, renowned for a career with Ibach of Germany! The iron frames are made in their own foundry, casting strong and beautiful frames. All the steel and copper wire for the strings are produced in Germany too, creating a piano of excellent tone and quality!! Steinmayer pianos were certainly built to last, but not only do they sound excellent they look beautiful. IN 1998 STEINMAYER PIANOS WERE AWARDED THE ISO INTERNATIONAL QUALITY CERTIFICATE.
