1978 Guild S 300 AD vintage electric guitar w/ case Korina S300 Dimarzio PAF SD

Up for a no reserve auction is a killer player 1978 Guild S 300 AD (Ash-DiMarzio), s/n 186825. I know the guitar is Ash, and not Korina, but the ash body actyally has a very similar grain pattern to korina on this guitar, it really looks, feels (guitar weighs 6.9 lbs), and sounds chimey just like a Korina Gibson! Anyway, the guitar is all original including the finish, and has never been broken. The neck on this is killer, it just had a very light fret level and dress, and the frets are perfect as is the real ebony fingerboard, and the guitar plays superb. The all original hardware is in excellent condition. The factory Dimarzio pickups sound killer, and I think Guild used a Super Distortion for the bridge, and a PAF for the neck, but correct me if I am wrong. The electronics function perfectly and are original with the cool one year only single pointer style knobs. The finish has chips, dings, and touchups in various spots on the body of the guitar (the worst at the front edge of the control cavity, but it is still a really cool looking guitar. I would not consider it a museum piece by any means, but I would consider it a KILLER player, that has some vintage mojo, and vibe, that is solid and all original, which originality is important to me. Anyway, the guitar comes shipped in a real nice more recent Ibanez hard case that fits the guitar quite well. Please look at all the pics and ask any questions you may have.
