BRIAN MAY RED SPECIALThis guitar was built by luthier Felipe Sousa. It is made using the same Oak/Blockboard/Mahagony combination of woods plus acoustic pockets as per the original. It is equipped with ADESON pickups, which are the closest to the original pick ups you can get and are unavailable at the moment! The sound is absolutely amazing. The sustain is fantastic and the middle/neck out-of-phase position really screams!The neck is rather modeled after the BMG shape, which means that it is not as big and fat as Brian's. Some people prefer this to the original shape and find it easier to play. Of course the length and width are original measurements.Everything else is of course what you expect from a faithfully handmade Red Special: original tremolo and bridge design, May Star inlay, beautifully shiny Mother of Pearl buttons.The colour has a very authentic and beautiful red/orange/brownish quality, other than a lot of replicas or the official BMGs that tend to be more red.The overall condition is very good, very few scratches on the scratchplate and almost none on the laquer.
