The Tascam TA1VP brings a glorious bag of tricks to the performing vocalist, lifting your performances to new heights. Along with the famous Antares AutoTune effect, which can nudge your vocal performance to perfect pitch on the fly, are some additional useful features and effects. Built-in compression, de-essing, microphone and tube modelling all work together helping you deliver your very best possible vocal performance. Operating the TA1VP Vocal producer is easy and intuitive. Just plug your microphone into the front panels built-in XLR Mic preamp input. All the processing parameters are laid out in easy to manoeuvre blocks on the front panel. There are dedicated buttons for all the controls and separate, easy to read metering for each block/process. The AutoTune module offers a variety of user-selectable scales and can be set to different degrees of intensity. You can save and recall the settings for future use or programme your changes via MIDI. The de-essing module automatically removes any excess sibilance from your voice so those annoying Ss dont dominate the mix and ruin the show. Smooth things out with a touch or (or more) of compression and sweeten the end result with the built-in digital EQ. Antares Mic Modelling lets you choose from a comprehensive list of famous and application-specific modelled microphones to add additional flexibility to this amazing toolbox. You just tell Mic Modeller which mic youre actually using and then select which mic youd like it to sound like. You can fatten things up a bit with the built-in Tube Modelling module.
