1978 BC Rich Bich 10 String Red Up for auction is my 1978 BC Rich Bich 10 string serial number 80XXX. I bought this guitar in Los Angeles in 1992. The guitar is in 10 condition. There are 2 small chips on 2 of the horns (see photo’s). I rarely played it, I mostly bought it because I wanted one in high school when they were first released and because Joe Perry was playing one (Live Bootleg!!). The frets are like new (never refretted). There are little dings here and there and swirl marks from cleaning over the years but very light. All of the pot and switches are working properly. Very light worming on the back but so light I cant capture in a photo. This one is mahogany. In the 70’s and I think 80’s you had an option of Mahogany or Maple with painted Bich’s. Of course the premium one’s were the Koa one’s. This one has Dimarzio super distortion pickups. Dimarzio PAF’s were and option. I have seen these with PAF’s and a PAF and Super Distortion combo. The badass bridge isn’t corroded. I have it strung as a 6 string. Much easier to play and more fun. Includes the original hardshell case. All the hinges and latches work and the handle is fully intact. I didn’t think I would ever sell this guitar but I have an opportunity that would be an upgrade. I will consider reasonable offers.
