The ebony fingerboard, split-diamond inlays, '57 Classic humbucking pickups, 6 position varitone and multi-ply top binding, identify this new ES137 custom model. Other features are all Gibson deluxe: laminated curly maple body, binding on bottom, fingerboard and peghead, tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece. The Gibson ES137 custom has outstanding tonal range, everything you need from Jazz to Metal. The Gibson ES-137 custom employs a mahogany center block for reduced feedback and greater sustain. Includes Gibson Black smooth levant hardshell case. FEATURES: Highly versatile single-cutaway thinbody guitar with two '57 Classics humbuckers and 6 position varitone control Curly Maple/Poplar/Maple laminate top, back, and rims Mahogany center block to reduce feedback and add sustain Three piece maple neck 22 fret, single-ply bound ebony fingerboard Bound top and back 1959 rounded Les Paul neck profile Gold hardware Split Diamond inlays 24.75 inch scale length 1 11/16 inch nut width Tune-o-matic bridge Stopbar tailpiece Black speed knobs Grover Keystone Tuners Two '57 Classics humbuckers Two volume, two tone, three-way switch, 6 position varitone Gibson Black  hardshell case included with this guitar   There's a small check to the finish on the back of the neck and a very fine crack in the nitro finish which is a feature of almost every Gibson guitar of a certain age and nothing structural.  It is in excellent condition and has fine lines and marks which are near impossible to photograph.  A slight amount of oxidation to the hardware but nothing abnormal for a 12 year old guitar.  This guitar plays great and has been professionally set up and intonated.  Very minimal fret wear.  Sounds amazing!  Everything from George Benson jazz tones to Chet Atkins tones to Rockabilly tones to Rock and Roll and beyond.  A real looker too!
