Very early Martin Committee Deluxe Model RMC Professional Trumpet from 1961. Martin Committee RMCs were preferred horns for both Dizzy and Miles in the 60s. Amazing condition.  There appears to be very little use on this horn.  No Dents.  It's in Extremely Good Condition and plays wonderfully - has the classic Committee buttery sound!  Slides and valves are smooth and excellent.  Compression is very good - great "pop" and the longer valve slides spring back some when pulled out quickly without depressing valves.  A few very minor lacquer scratches and a little tarnish. See pictures.  Protective lacquer finish is at least 95%.  Lettering is very clear.  No Patches. Comes complete with a cloth bag and a very useable hard Martin case with working latches.  The case still even has the badge on the inside of the case - something you rarely see in a case this old.  Serial #211087.  Will come with a Bach 3C mouthpiece in excellent condition.  Not just a collectors item, this trumpet is ready to gig!Martin Committee RMC trumpets were played by both Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis.  Martin trumpets or cornets were played by a Who's Who list of trumpet and cornet players covering the spectrum of jazz, from Dixieland to Big Band to Bebop to Modern, including, amongst many, many others:  Chet Baker, Cat Anderson, Miles Davis, Bix Beiderbecke, Bunny Berigan, Chris Botti, Conti Candoli, Kenny Dorham, Roy Eldridge, Art Farmer, Maynard Ferguson, Horst Fischer, Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby Hackett, Eddie Henderson, Al Hirt, Freddie Hubbard, Blue Mitchell, Lee Morgan, Fats Navarro,  Bill Ortiz, Shorty Rogers, Charlie Shavers, Lu Watters, Louis Armstrong, Clark Terry, etc., etc…
